Palestine Sunbird

The sunbird is Palestine's national bird. This sunbird is more than a symbol of Palestine; it embodies the profound hope for freedom. Defying borders and restrictions, it migrates from Gaza's beaches through the landscapes of central and northern Palestine, finally finding its place in the coastal mountains and valleys of Lebanon—a testament to resilience and aspiration.

24 cm diameter in diameter /  2 cm height

Where should we go after the last frontiers ?

Where should the birds fly after the last sky ?

Where should the plants sleep

after the last breath of air?

We will write our names with scarlet steam.

We will cut off the hand of the song

to be finished by our flesh.

Here and here our blood will plant its olive tree.
