Make Your Own Ceramic Plant Pot – One-Day Workshop (4 Hours)

Perfect for both beginners and experienced makers, this one-day workshop is a great way to dive into working with clay and create your own unique ceramic plant pot from scratch.

We’ll begin with a short demo where I’ll introduce the basics of hand-building using pinching and coiling techniques. I’ll show a few examples to inspire you—different forms, surface treatments, and decoration styles—so you can explore the approach that suits you best.

Then, you'll get hands-on with clay, building and shaping your planter and its base. You’ll also have time to decorate your piece using underglazes (special ceramic colors) to give it a personal touch. Throughout the workshop, I’ll be there to guide and support you as you bring your piece to life.

After the session, your planter will be left to dry before being bisque-fired and glaze-fired. I’ll take care of that part for you, and your finished piece will be ready for pickup within 3 weeks—I’ll let you know when it’s out of the kiln.Prefer delivery?
